This cheese fondue flavored with Appalachian truffle oil is a real treat for cheese lovers and an elegant way to enjoy a comforting classic with a touch of luxury.

INGREDIENTS
- 600g of fondue cheese (e.g. cheddar, gouda, Swiss, Emmental, Vacherin)
- 210 ml of dry white wine
- 1 clove garlic, halved
- 20 ml of cornstarch
- 1 or 2 tbsp. Appalachian truffle flavored oil
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- Baguette bread, cut into cubes to serve
INSTRUCTIONS
- Grate the cheeses and mix them with the cornstarch in a bowl. Set aside.
- Rub the inside of the fondue pot with the garlic clove halves and place them in the bottom of the fondue pot.
- Pour the wine into the fondue pot and heat it over medium-high heat.
- When the wine begins to simmer, gradually add the grated cheese mixture, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula until the cheese mixture is smooth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for a few minutes.
- Adjust the seasoning to taste.
- Place the fondue pot on its fondue stand with the warming function on or with the flame lit to keep the fondue hot.
- Add a generous drizzle of Appalachian truffle flavored oil and mix.
- Serve the cheese fondue with cubes of baguette bread, sausages, and vegetables of your choice.
